If you've been keeping up with the buzz around fashion week, I'm sure you've seen her face more than once. Harley Viera-Newton is definately is one of my major fashion icons. Her style is very laid back and Cali cool. DJ for all the greatest parties, Harley is constantly having to pull out going out outfits, ands she does it perfectly. Ever since seeing a few pieces of Sophmore's clothes in a very old issue of Nylon, I feel in love with the brand. Their clothes are soft, wearable and seem to be in every "It Girls" closet. Their "Local Only!" shirt is the one that made me fall in love with them. I have been holding out for it for so long and am glad to see it has made a comeback in their new collection. The collection was put up on their website today, and already, my Christmas list has been lengthened by a couple pages.

The things one can do with a silk scarf. You can hide a bad hair day, disguise yourself when you don't feel like being seen, or give your handbag a different look. They are a celeb go to and a must-have for any girls closet. Hermes while being iconic for their Birkin bag, are also makers of some of the finest scarves to be found. While an Hermes scarf is not really in many of our price ranges, the brand did do something that we can all enjoy. They created the wonderful website "I love my scarf." Based in four different countries, the site shows different ways different people use their scarves and a small how-to for most of the styles. Check it out for yourself and wait for your next bad hair day to try some of the styles out.

September issues are the issues to trump all other issues. Magazines fill them with all the best and pages upon pages of ads are added to make the issues some of the thickest issues of the year. The Olsen twins both landed covers this September. Mary-Kate is the cover of Marie Claire, which has four different versions of the cover; while Ashley landed the largest Canadian fashion magazine, Fashion. Both girls looks stunning and are there to promote their bigger fashion lines The Row and Elizabeth and James. Ashely's Fashion article even has a contest within it to win a $5000 wardrobe by E&J from Holt Renfrew. I bought both issues and devoured the girls articles in minutes. They both have such distinct styles and the fact that they both were interviewed separately for each magazine, shows how different the two really are.

While spending my Sunday lounging in bed and reading magazines, I came across The Runaways playing on my MOD. I admit that I am not Kristen Stewarts #1 fan, but I was curious enough to pay the $5.99 rental price for the movie. Within the first 10 minutes I was absolutely enamoured with the fashion. I loved everything Dakota Fanning's character had on and found myself longing for a red jumpsuit and wooden platform heels. Even K.Stew's DIY'd "sex pistols" shirt had me reaching for an old t-shirt and some spray paint. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend it for those who love vintage inspired film, good old teenage girl angst, rock and roll, and seventies fashion.

So September issues are starting to hit the stands and we are able to get our hands on the biggest books of the year. While I should be excited for these glossies to be finally on the shelves, I can't help but get a little sad, as most of them exclaim on the covers: "Fall Fashion!" and "New Trends for Fall!". This summer has just flown right by me and I just cannot stand the thought of being so close to facing another winter! It feels like only yesturday we were planning our outfits for music festivals and summer BBQs. As I read these September magazines, I just cannot get it into my head that the fall will be here in a matter of weeks and we must soon retire our bikini's and flip flops for cordrouys and Ugg boots.

I'm all for child stars growing up and getting style sense and personalities that don't always go with the image their parents/agents were trying to create, but dear Ms.Momsen has taken things to a whole other level. I normally only like to write about the beauty of fashion, etc. but Taylor's style needs to be addressed. I love a good "heroin chic" look, but Taylor seems to have gone to an extreme and landed herself with the look of "40year old washed up prostitute". Excuse my harsh words, but I was taken a bit abak when I found out Taylor was the face of Madonna's Material Girl for Macy's line. Would you really want your daughter looking like she threw coal on her eyes to hide two black eyes and has been around the block? I don't think so.

The past evening, I had absolutely nothing to do, so I began to scroll through my movie channels. While scrolling, I came across the Coco Chanel dramatized bio-pic, Coco Avant Chanel. For lack of anything better to do, I watched the French subtitled film and loved it. While most critics gave it poor reviews, I genuinely loved this film and Audrey Tatou playing Chanel. The costumes, obviously, were beautiful and Tatou played Chanel so gracefully. It made me want to wear my Breton stripes and pearls all day long, while speaking French with a cigarette perpetually attached to my lips.

Okay, I will be the first to admit that my newest layot is really a down-grade from the last. But bear with me, as I have already gone to JDK productions to ask for major help in getting a better looking layout and they are in the process of doing so.

However, this weekend was spent in Montreal, which is quite a fashionable city. I didn't realize it until I was there in person seeing first hand the ensembles put together by the city's people for simple tasks like grocery shopping or meeting a friend for coffee. I loved it and was able to wear some of my new clothes and really dress up for such mundane days out.

I can always depend on The Gap when I am in need of a basic pair of jeans or a couple tank tops. On the off-chance though, while browsing through the store, I will come upon a piece that stays in my closet for years to come that I consider a "go-to" piece. While reading Refinery 29 yesturday afternoon, I read about this little treasure by the Gap called "The Moto Knit Blazer". I consider it a perfect summer to fall transition piece and cannot wait to hit the stores and make it mine. I'm not sure if it comes in more colors, but I kind of like the bright pop of yellow. Paired with a pair of skinny jeans and ballet flats, it is the cutest topper for casual days around town. And, it comes at the very affordable price range of $69.99.

Once again, the Olsen twins prove to the fashion world just how good they are. Coming this fall we can expect to see The Row x Linda Farrow sunglasses hitting the shelves of select stores. The sunglasses are most definately styles you would see on the girls themselves and different than a lot of the styles out right now. Expect me to be in the shops the moment they are put on the shelves so I can protect my eyes as fashionably as possible.

Okay, so call me tacky for using a Dior quote for a Prada post, but I saw it this morning and thought it applied. I just bought this Prada perfume last week and am trying it out. I'm not sure if I'm ready to change up my signature scent just yet, but I am going to give this one a try. It smells so fresh and clean. It's a perfect spring/summer scent.

So I am extremely lazy and have been holding these pictures on my hardrive for a while. They are from Vogue UKs blog by Olivia Palermo. These are "travel" pictures. I wish I was allowed to bring this many shoes when I travel! Already, I'm freaking out about a trip in mid-August because I have no way of bringing as many shoes as I needs. I think the airline industry is just being awful by cutting down baggage limits to one bag per person.

I met the man! The 2nd floor of Holt Renfrew, Bloor St. was completely taken over by Toronto's most fashionable all hoping for the chance to take a picture with the 26 year old man who keeps us drooling season after season. A whole area of the 2nd floor had been converted into a palace of Wang with racks upon racks of his newest pieces and displays of some of the most beautiful handbags, shoes and sunglasses. Alexander was extremely friendly and introduced himself to me with a "Hi, I'm Alex!". I wanted to scream back in his face "I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!", but thankfully, I was able to restrain myself and simply just give him my name and tell him how beautiful his work was. We took a picture together and he gave me a note card signed with his name. Two things that will be treasured forever, alongside his Rocco, Brenda and Donna handbags.

He had as all braiding our hair at the start of the summer and look to dressing in sportwear and jersey. Today, the CFDA award winning designer will be stopping in at Holt Renfrew, Bloor st. in Toronto. The event is taking place in 1 hr,and I just cannot contain myself and my excitement. So are backpacks cool again? I remember when they were very in fashion in the 90s and I remember when they fell out of fashion in the early 00s. I also remember thinking they were one thing that would never come back in style so it was okay for me to give away all of mine to Goodwill. Unfortunately for me, they came back. With designers like Alexander Wang making newer versions of the backpack, I've been seeing them on so many fashion forward people. I think it is safe to say that they are back, but I'm not sure if I will be running out to buy them all over again. For the sake of my wallet, I think I will sit this trend out.

I love magazines and read them religiously, but I must say, it truly is a bummer to start looking at heavy winter pieces when summer is just getting started. I feel like it is now safe to say that bar rings and nail rings are in style. I love the trend and think bar rings are a great alternative to having to nonchalantly mixing a bunch of different yet matching rings on one hand. I first started liking the trend when one Ms.Lauren Conrad, started wearing the rings and love it even more as I see it get bigger and bigger. Urban outfitters has teamed up with Jules Kim of Bijules to create a line of rings called BT by Jules Kim. There aren't that many pieces on the site, but they range from $18-$162. I like that they give you the option of going high or low.

Last night, I went to go see one of my oldest and closest friends perform Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, in the park. The show was spectacular. The evening weather was perfect and watching Shakespeare as the sun set was a beautiful experience. Afterwards, I went off to a nearby pub to grab a beer and catch up on the "good ole days". After getting home in the early hours of today, I decided to spend the day at home, curled up on my bed in my FreeCity's with the 5ths book of the Sookie Stackhouse series. Seriously addicted.

Ever since Chanel started the craze awhile back, I've been seeing temporary tattoos popping up all over the place. While I do feel as though I'm back in elementary school when applying them, I think they are kind of wonderful. I'm not a person who can ever make up her mind, and like a constant change, so the temps allow me to change up my tattoos whenever I feel like it. They are a novelty, and I love it. Now, I just am waiting for the trend to go as far as it once was, where Spice Girls tattoos were the thing to wear.

As this weekend was a bit of a boring one, my sister and I headed out to our all-time favorite store, Holt Renfrew. While shopping, I couldn't help but staring at the mannequin displays. I saw the first image when I first got onto the sight. I love the pieces and think they are great for summer. I want all of it! The second image is what I see as the perfect cover up. It`s fun and fresh and looks has the hippie bohemian vibe I enjoy. It would be perfect to wear over a swimsuit for a summer pool party or bbq. Even without the swimsuit, it`s cute to wear to a music festival. I`m planning my wardrobe for a trip to Europe coming up in August (yes, I plan way ahead!), and now have these pieces all floating around in my mind!

Okay, I know she's the "bitch" on the City, but I just love her. While she sometimes can act a tad spoiled, I do agree with her most of the time and would kill for her wardrobe. She's so classic, but keeps up with the current trends. Her handbags are always beautiful as are her shoes. One aspect of her dressing that I like, is how she mixes high end desinger with brands like Zara. Also, her makeup is always spot on and so clean and classic looking.

I can't say why exactly, but there has been something in me lately that has been severely wanting a fedora. I finally found one that I liked at Holt Refrew and bought it last Friday. I wore it to my cottage on the weekend (a very old shorts and vacation tees kind of place) and received many comments. Mostly comments asking me who I thought I was and why I was so dressed up for the cottage. I don't care though, because I love it. Buying it totally made my Friday.

These ethnic patterned shorts are my new summer obsession. I'm so over my denim shorts in an array of cuts and colors and am looking for something more. I've been noticing these on models here and there, but finally pinned a couple pairs down on Singer 22. I think they are perfect for a summer holiday to be paired with a solid colored t or tank and dressed up or down. Also, most of them are made with silk, lighter fabrics, so they will pack so easily.

Yesturday was Canada Day for us in the North. It was a perfect day to just kick back and relax and do absolutely nothing at all. I spent it a home with my family just goofing around and doing nothing in particular. One notable event thought was shopping in my mother's closet. I ended up walking out with a pair of reflecting sunglasses and two amazingly cozy sweaters. The best part was that I didn't have to spend a dime.

In the evening, my sister and I went for dinner at a local steak house and discussed and decided upon weekend plans. Basically, just a more detailed planning of a weekend up at the cottage. The night was a bit cool, so I paired one of my favorite T By Alexander Wang tanks with my favorite pair of Ralph Lauren boots.

So in case you have yet to notice, One In Every Color now has a new design. Once again, thanks to Michelle over at JDK productions. I had gotten a little tired of the old heading and colors, so this is a very welcome change for me. One more work day left for me before we have our super long weekend where I will be heading up to my cottage and saying goodbye to civilization. As I sit at my desk right now, I am craving a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in a cone to eat while sitting on the end of the dock with my feet dangling in the water. Heaven.

Gossip Girl author, Cecily von Ziegesar recently came out with a new book, Cum Laude, based on the lives of four college kids.

I originally purchased the book thinking that it was going to be simliar to Gossip Girl, but I was definately wrong. While the story itself was OK (and I do mean OK), it lacked the je ne sais quoi that had GG readers intrigued for years.

I've been following Rumi's blog for quite some time now. While her style can sometimes be a bit too ball-sy for me, I do think that she creates great silhouettes and has amazing pieces. I would love to raid her closet one day. Her style is very urban hipster, west coastish and hippie. I love it. Plus, her shoes are always killer. If I could trade shoe closets with someone for one day, it would definately be hears...although I would definately keep a few the next day.

Also, thumbs up to her boyfriend/photographer Colin. He takes great shots and I think it takes a lot for a boyfriend to follow around his girl with a camera snapping photos around town.

The above image is of a new Urban Outfitters store. Unfortunately I cannot remember where this store is, but nevertheless, I still think it is pretty cool. It's different from every other kind of store in its genre and I like different.

A very lucky friend of mine is leaving tomorrow for NYC to take a course at Parson's. I am super jealous of her, but think she is going to have a fabulous time. She's getting an apartment down here and I'm sure will be living a glamourous life that should be documented by MTV camera's. I'll try not to hate her as I try to tame my frizzy hair caused by the wonderful rain and humidity in Toronto. But I still wish her the best of luck and will do an amazing job!

Monday was most probably the slowest day of my week. Time seemed to go by so slowly and each time I looked at the clock, I learned only a minute or two had passed. Thankfully yesturday, Tuesday, I had more exciting plans. I was meeting up with some good friends who I had grown up with at Toronto's large theme park, Wonderland. Even though we all are in our 20s, working and technically adults, we spent the day in this odd time warp where we were still 15 and no time had passed. We rode the carousel, took goofy pictures of our shoes and laughed the entire day. It was so much fun to spend a day with no responsiblities, work, problems with the opposite sex, etc. Loved. It.

*Only flaw: I wore an Alexander Wang T-shirt and had it soaked through by the evening. I went for dinner with everyone wearing huge, majorly stained Juicy tracks I keep in my car only for emergencies and a baggy mens t-shirt. I looked ready for bed...

So, as hopefully many of you know, Tru Blood Season 3 premiered on Sunday. To say the least, it was awesome. I'm not quite sure as to how I went 8 months without it. Yes, I am aware of how creepy and sexual the show is, but all I can say is that it keeps me entertained and intriqued, just like good television should.

Whenever I watch the show, I feel like slipping into a pair of Daisy Dukes or a flowery sundress and speak in a southern accent, a la Sookie Stackhouse.

Agness Deyn launched her online magazine this weekend, and I can say, I am a fan. The writing style isn't epic, but the products that are in it, are pretty good and I love the whole layout and look of the site. Another bonus to this type of magazine reading, is that I don't need to make a note of the sites and stores I want to check out, because they provide a link right too the stores as you are reading. The graphics and photography are amazing! I wonder when we are going to see Ms. Deyn herself featured in some of them!!

This week has already started off quite slow. I just feel tired all the time, but I think that's because of going to bed way past my bedtime. A good piece of news though, is that I am finished one of my most difficult projects of designing a store window! It was absolutely crazy work and I feel as though a huge weight has been lifted. I must say though, I couldn't have done anything without the help of Michelle over at JDK productions. She basically saved my life!

My cat can be a huge pain in the a**, but he has a cute face so it save him. I had spent so long trying to arrange these pictures to photograph them, but my cat came along and thought I had set up a little game for him and proceeded to scrample up all the pictures and ruin any hopes of mine for a good photo.

It's a rainy day in the city and my hair is just a ball of frizz. It's days like this that I wish I had silky straight hair. Days like this are just so cold and damp and messy. I've been cheering myself up with a Starbucks white mocha and some good old tunes from Bedouin Soundclash.

While I do like some of the newer pieces of jewelry around, I will always love vintage jewelry more. They just have so much more personality and are normally one of a kind. Most of the jewellry in my box are just random pieces that have built up and I have no clue where they are from. It adds some characteristic I think.

I bought so many new things from H&M the other night and basically spent my entire paycheck. I've been itching to wear my new purchases, but it has been raining everyday this week and I am afraid to ruin it. Lame, I know. The weather is just so gloomy and gray that they only thing I really want to wear is a pair of free city track, an old sweater (preferrably an old school sweater or something borrowed from the boys) and my mocassins. That kind of sounds ideal right now.

ps. I am fully aware that the picture has absolutely no relevance to the text. I just like the ring a lot. I bought it in Costa Rica and it has barely left my hand since.

H&M Fashion Against Aids Launch Party

Last night I went to H&M's Toronto launch party for their Fashion Against Aids collection. It was an absolutely amazing night. They served free food and drinks and had special discounts on all their regualar priced merchandise. The best part of the evening though was a special performance by Bedouin Soundclash. They were phenominal to say the least. It was such a small stage and venue that it was kind of unbelievable. Anyway, so many people were there from the Toronto fashion industry including Sarah Nicole Prickett, Fashion Television, VJs from MTV and I'm sure more that I am forgetting. I bought so much from the collection it was insane! I took my sister as my plus 1 and everything we saw was thrown over our arms and purchased.

These are my absolute favorite pieces of jewellry. They are a michael kors watch, tiffany key ring, house of harlow ring and bracelet, ring bought in a gold soukh in bahrain, and a tiffany ring. I normally don't leave the house without one of these one me. The Tiffany ring is something that my two closest friends also coincidentally have, and so we see them more like "friendship" rings.

Whether it is used to inspire you for dressing, to design, or just to go about your every day, I think an Inspiration Board is a must have in every girl's room. I have completely covered the inside of my two closet doors with everything I find beautiful and alluring in magazines, lookbooks or just random places, and my computer desktop has this background. As my mood changes day to day, so do my boards. I find it so strange nowadays when I go to someone's place and they don't have one. I just would feel so lost without one. A plus side to an inspiration board is that you get to take about an hour or so every little while and just do some good old fashioned cutting and pasting!

Well I actually love "their" style, but who doesn't. So many blogs and tumblr's are made just for these two girls, who honestly have inspired so many outfits, collections and maybe even lives. They seem to disregard any fashion trend, but create new ones. They truly dress for themselves and not for Hollywood or any other industry, and that's something that must be respected. Not only that, but they are not only smart and fashionable, but they are also creative with two major fashion lines and a collaboration collection. What's best about their lines is that they actually wear the clothes, unlike other celebrities who wouldn't be caught dead in clothes they have so-called "designed".

Make Me Look Good

The other day, I emptied out my make-up bag to see the majority of its contents was Bobbi Brown. I first fell for the brand when I was still in my early teenage years and my sister had splurged for some bronzer. I secretly used it behind her back and loved the way it looked and felt. It wasn't too cakey like other brands and suited my skin tone just perfectly. By the end of my high school years, I went all out on my love and had my make-up done by a Bobbi Brown make-up artist for my senior prom. The look they did on my was perfect and I felt on top of the world. As I've grown older, while I have branched off to brands like Chanel and Nars, I realize that I have stayed loyal to Bobbi for supplying my basics and use it almost every day.

Summer's Sun

As the weather is (supposedly) warming up, I've been on the prowl for a new swimsuit. I plan on spending every and all weekends this summer either at the cottage or by a beach somewhere, so a swimsuit is essential. Last year, I wore a black one piece from American Apparel, but even I will admit that I look more like a pussycat doll rather than a 20something spending a weekend around family. So, this year, I am hoping to find something a little more "conservative". I've narrowed my choices down to two.

Last week, during a couple days off, I decided to make a t-shirt. Well one t-shirt lead me to buying a pack of fruit of the loom mens undershirts and "customising" multiple t-shirts. The one pictured here was a slogan I saw on another tshirt awhile ago, but haven't been able to find. I wore it to an aunts house and was happy when people asked me where it was from. I just don't know whether they meant it because it was nice or because it looked like it may have come from a garbage...

I love love love love love Holt Renfrew. I will be honest in saying, then when in Toronto, almost 75% of my paycheck goes to them. they have everything and everything I ever need, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. One of the perks to shopping there, is the complimentary shoppers, who will help you find an outfit for whatever price point.

They Finally Came!!!

After waiting for...well not a very long time...I received my new purchases from the Outnet. The first was a handbag from Antik Batik. It is absolutely gorgeous and so funky. It would be perrrfect for Coachella,but I'm missed that! So I am saving it for my summer travels in Europe and any music festivals my best friend and I may come upon. The second item was a pair of Elizabeth and James skinny pants. I am actually wearing them to work right now and they are byfar the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. They are quite similar to a pair of Citizens of Humanity's I bought a few years ago, but those fell apart a month after buying them, so I hope I won't have a repeat of that with these pants! Anyways, very excited about these new item and am loving the Outnet right now. They're business strategy with their 1$ sale totally worked on me!

For so long, I have been searching for Jalouse in Canada. I started reading it once on a trip to England, and have been purchasing it in any country that sells it. I spend my time at book stores in the foreign magazine sections, hoping, just hoping, to get my hands on a copy. Finally, I randomly stumbled upon a copy at a small convenience store. While talking to the cashier, she informed me that they carry it always. So I bought my copy and had a smile on my face all afternoon. The magazine has been great and I have been devouring every article.

As it is spring now, I am very much into looking at some brighter colors. I bought this nail polish a couple weekends ago and have worn it so many times since. I just love how its different than what most girls are wearing these days. I like to wear this color with a more muted outfit, so that the color standouts. If you can't tell, I bought it at American Apparel and it's called "office". On a side note, I am quite impressed with the AA nail polishes. I truly thought they would just be cheap and chip off easily, but I have gone without top coat on this and it has proven to be quite strong.

Actually, one in every color! The other day, I was at the mall looking for a spring-y color. I tried on a new color for each nail and only after 5 fingers had an array of colors applied, did I realize that there was no nail polish remover in the store. I went back to my office with my ONE hand looking like this and received odd glances from my co-workers when they saw it.

I have been coveting Givenchy by Ricardo Tisci leather wrapped open toe booties since I first saw them on the runway. Unfortunately, my budget does not allow for the purchase of the $1,000+ shoes, so I had to find a similar shoe elsewhere to sate my desire. I then stumbled upon the above shoes at Aldos. No they are not quite the same as the Givenchy's, but I do like the look and it is similar enough for me. I bought the shoes for a little over $90 and wore them out the night of purchase. The leather wrap helps to hold your foot in and they were comfortable enough to wear the entire night and quite easy to walk in despite their height. Not only that, but I received quite a few comments, and most commenters were suprised to hear that the shoes were from Aldo - they were expecting something way more expensive.

Not only is she a model, but also her grandfather was Ernest Hemingway, she is the face of Valentino, and she has a wardrobe most of us girlies would envy. Sunday morning I went to brunch with some of the girls I was out with the night before. We went to an area in Toronto that is basically the equivalent of New York's Lower East Side. It is very young, trendy and artistic. The crowd mostly is comprised of 20 something trustfunders or young hipster couples with adorable babies. It is, in my opinion, one of the most fashionable and inspiring areas of the city. One girl in particular had such effortless style that I would die for. She had on a vintage blazer, a nothing-special tank top and loose pair of cashmere juicy's with the most beautiful sandals ever. I loved her look. I tried to recreate it in Polyvore, but I must admit that her whole character was what made this outfit so eye-catching.

On a sidenote, more often than not, I am inspired to create outfits after seeing similar ones on strangers in the street or by store front layouts and visual displays. Saying that, I do always carry with me a notepad to either draw or write down the outfits I think about so I can wear them when I can't think of anything else to wear.

Saturday night was finally the party I had been planning an outfit for all last week. It was an absolutely insane night to say the least. The party was produced by JDK productions, who did such a great job. Hosted by Michelle L, the party was attended by a random assortment of ladies from downtown scenesters to visitors from Ottawa. I didn't get any photos of my outfit for the night (as I was the one taking photographs), but I basically wore my black joes jean leggings, a black kain top, aldo wedges, a michael kors cross-body bag, my usual assortment of rings and my chanel tattoos.

Since getting Derek Blasberg's book on the 5th, I've been savoring every word. The book honestly feels like I am hearing advice from a GBF (read the book and you'll learn that means Gay Best Friend). This afternoon was the best though because I found the perfect sun spot in my living room, had a refreshing Starbucks frapp and my cat to cuddle with while reading the book. I hope you all get a chance to pick up a copy and enjoy it like me!

I understood why she started doing the leggings thing, because for a while, they really were all she wore, but I cannot understand why she jumped so quickly to create everything else! I love her style, but I don't think I'll be buying into this line. I think she should follow in Kate Moss' footsteps and admit she is no designer; she is just a girl who likes clothes.

Life Unexpected

As May approaches, TV networks are getting ready to make cuts and remove shows they don't think will bring in enough money. Luckily, watchers do have a say thanks to Eonline.com who has an annual "Save One Show" vote, where one show voted for the most is guaranteed to stay on for another season. Voting has already begun, and has been narrowed down to five shows. Unfortunately, already one of my top two choices is already out of the running, but there is still hope for my other favorite: Life Unexpected. The show is great and really brings back the good old family drama reminiscent of Dawson's Creek and the like. While I did watch Melrose Place for the Ella's fashion, this show is not filled with designer duds, but rather just warm family moments. I may be making this sound sappy, but it is really a great show and I'm happy we finally something like this back on the air. While down down the other night, I stopped by the Prada store and just loved their window displays. They are just so simple and exactly like their editorial campaigns.I like that Prada is sticking to one design them for all of their advertising and just being repititous. The more you see them, you the more you start to consider doing a severe low comb-over with pigtails and wearing their beautifully designed skirts and dress with red lips. The women working the store definately thought I was taking the picture to make fakes out of the items in the window and were a tad suspicious of me, but I just had to snap the shot with my Blackberry.

On my daily troll of Refinery 29, I came across their article on Pour La Victoire's new handbag line. I love it and cannot wait to buy basically every bag featured above. To say it has been a long day at the office is an understatement. My eyes are dry, my back hurts and I am just plain tired. And to top it all off, I think I'm coming down with something which would just be horrible for the long-weekend coming up. On the brightside though, the sun is shining outside and I have plans of going to Starbucks after work to go for coffee with some old friends. Now, the question is, do I get my usual mocha or do I opt for a cooler frappacino option tonight? Oh I cannot wait until the clock strikes 5 today!
